19" Rack & Components
This category has items related to 19" rack-mount hardware. It includes both the rack frames or cabinets as well as components used with them. These were originally called relay racks in the days before semiconductor electronics. The were used to hold trays of relays for phone systems and all other manner of electronics. Today, they are most often used to hold test instruments, high-end audio equipment and large scale computer/internet equipment.
